The trekking season in the Wakhan is June - September. The summers are warm with temperatures reaching a comfortable 25-30 degrees, winters see temperatures plummeting to -25 degrees. There is no viable forecast as of yet however these months provide generally consistent good weather which is ideal for those on a tighter schedule. The Pamirs are a huge attraction, but there are many valleys along the Wakhan Corridor which are just as delightful, and for those with only a few days a perfect solution. |
