First Climbed in 1963 by Italian Alpinists Gin Carlo Biasin, Gin Carlo Castelli - Gattinara & Carlo Alberto Pinelli. They climbed the western ridge to reach the peak and set up two camps at, 5400m & 5800m. There is little information on the North and North East sides as these are virgin routes. In 2003 an all female team of mountaineers made an attempt on the mountain but extreme cold, hard ice and deep snow halted the attempt. |
