Wakhan Festival

Every August in Sarhad - e Broghil for two - three days the Wakhan Pamir
festival takes place.

The programme normally includes:

The traditional game of Buzkashi
Sporting events, tug of war, volley ball
Songs by school children
Persian music
Dramas

Stalls with local crafts
Food stalls

Accomodation is either in the local guest houses or allocated camp sites.
