Ishkashim River Loop Walk - this is a relaxing way to spend an afternoon,
plenty of photographic opportunities, wonderful views and relaxing picnic
spots.

Ishkashim is the first town you arrive into once you cross the Tajikistan border.
Many people rush in and out, but this is an intreseting town full of culture and history.

The people are a mix of Ismali and Sunni Muslims, but there is no conflict here and
it's a wonderful place to begin your exploration of Afghanistan.
