Children's centre

"Parapomisus' is an old word for the Hindu Kush, and means 'higher
than an eagle soars'. The legend has it that the range was so high that to
cross it even an eagle had to walk" 1972 Nottingham University Expedition.

Please help & make a real difference.

Mountain Unity have allocated a large room in their compound to
become the children's centre, we hope to have it open and running by
summer 2010.

We are in real need of children's toys to help stimulate their learning and
develpment. If you feel you can help please go onto Mountain Unity's gift
list at www.amazon.co.uk, we will then take the toys out to Afghanistan
this spring.
